Program Facilitators
Donna R. D. Porter
Donna Porter is an organization development specialist
focused on helping organizations work effectively with and through their
people to translate business strategy into successful outcomes.
Prior to entering the consulting field in 1994, Donna
held senior human resources positions within the financial services and
accounting sectors, working with Royal Trust, North American Trust, and
Deloitte & Touche. Her consulting experience has included assignments with
three of Canada’s major financial institutions, manufacturers, food products
companies, several health regulatory Colleges, a major Canadian hospital,
three major insurers, several professional services firms, the public sector
(federal and provincial), and small business. These assignments have focused
on leadership and team development, succession planning, performance management,
training program design and general human resources consulting. A further
area of concentration is assisting organizations with the human side of
mergers and acquisitions.
A Certified Management Consultant (CMC), Donna is
a graduate of the University of Western Ontario MBA program. She holds an
undergraduate degree in Honours History from the University of Toronto.
Ken Ainsworth
Ken has worked in the areas of organization
development, learning and coaching for over 20 years. He focuses his
consulting efforts on helping individuals and organizations pursue
coordinated, organized change through learning in three primary areas:
the design and facilitation of organization development retreats and
initiatives; the design, development and delivery of learning
interventions; and individual and team coaching.
Ken has held management positions with the Bank of
Montreal, Work Wear Corporation of Canada, and Ainsworth Investments and
established his consulting practice in 1989.
Ken holds a Master's degree in clinical
counselling psychology from the University of Ottawa, an MBA from York
University and is a Certified Management Consultant.
Michel Lemieux
For the last twenty five years, Michel Lemieux has
been involved in the Human Resources Management field.
He has held various positions in the Human Resources
Department at Esso Canada, Domtar, and most recently as Vice President of
Human Resources for Wire Rope Industries Ltd. in Pointe-Claire, Québec.
He was also “Directeur d’Études” at Caron, Bélanger, Woods Gordon, Management
Consultants, in the “Productivité et Efficience Organisationnelle” group.
Michel is now an independent consultant in Organizational
Development and Human Resources Management.
His main field of interest focuses on organizational
change and employee involvement in a continuous improvement orientation.
In this context, his interventions are at the senior management team level
in developing the vision, values and structures to implement and support
change, as well as in the training and development of employees at all levels
to become more autonomous and involved in reaching the organization’s goal.
He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia
University, Loyola Campus, and also obtained a Certificate in Industrial
Relations from the Université de Montréal. He completed specialized training
in Organizational Development with National Training Laboratories (N.T.L.)
and the Executive Business Program at Queen’s University.
He is a member of the O.D. Network and of the Association
for Psychological Type.
Marc Wilson
Marc Wilson is a founding partner of WilsonBrooks,
a consulting practice that focuses on leadership development, organization
design, change management and executive coaching.
Marc has worked for over 25 years as a consultant,
executive and trainer. He has developed and facilitated programs for companies
in manufacturing, telecommunications, real estate development, finance,
broadcasting, energy and gas distribution as well as for unions, the Canadian
Armed Forces, and government. He has facilitated search conferences, strategy
workshops, project start-ups and close-outs, problem solving and conflict
resolution sessions, and a broad range of training programs.
Marc holds a Masters of Science in Organization Development
from Pepperdine University, a certificate in Organizational Systems Design
from McGill, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Ottawa. He
has studied and worked with leading practitioners in organization design,
strategy and leadership development including Jay Galbraith, Peter Koestenbaum,
Henry Mintzberg and Edgar Schein. He has written numerous articles and papers
for various clients, and has authored training manuals on quality, management
skills and instructional techniques.
Marc is a Senior Associate of the Niagara Institute.
People who work with Marc comment on his humour, his infectious energy,
and his knack for engaging them in listening to each other and inventing
change strategies that work.
