Designed for intact teams, our high potential leadership program takes an integrated approach to growing your rising leaders, bringing together an inner journey of shaping leadership vision with a focus on leading at the enterprise level.
Your high potential employees will leave this program inspired, with clarity around their purpose, stronger connections with others, and the ability to balance detailed execution with an enterprise perspective on problems and opportunities.
The program combines facilitated sessions with assessments, one-on-one coaching, reflection exercises, and action learning to keep participants engaged and ready to apply the learning back on the job.
Step 1: Initial Selection and Goal-Setting
The target cohort of participants is identified through succession planning and validated through talent reviews. Participants who have been selected for the high potential leadership program meet with their managers to develop personal development objectives.
Step 2: Shaping Personal Leadership Vision
Participants kick off their learning journey with modules to clarify their purpose, build self-awareness, and strengthen their connection with others. At the end of this step, participants will have a clear vision for their leadership that enables them to lead more authentically. This step includes:
- The Leadership Circle Profile assessment
- Five half-day group training sessions
Two 1:1 coaching sessions to debrief the Leadership Circle Profile with a coach and clarify personal learning objectives
- Reflection and action learning exercises between sessions
Step 3: Building an Enterprise Mindset
Participants continue their journey with a hands-on challenge that builds enterprise-level thinking, strengthens their ability to lead through ambiguity, and breaks down silos. Working in groups of six, participants tackle real business problems at your organization that lie outside of their area of expertise, requiring disciplined collaboration across functional boundaries. This phase includes:
- Motives Profile and Reflected Best Self Exercise
- Four half-day group training sessions
Independent and group work between sessions
- Two 1:1 coaching sessions with their assigned coach
- Capstone presentation to the Senior Leadership Team
