For anyone without a background in finance, discussions regarding financial business matters can quickly leave you feeling out of your depths. You may want to communicate how your work or team is contributing to the profitability and growth of the business, or mitigating risk, but can't find the right words to say to do it justice.
Fortunately, this is a learnable skill. Though if reading financial textbooks or listening to financial theory isn't going to work for you, Business Challenge offers a risk and judgment-free way to do that. Presented as a simulation, you will work alongside teammates to learn how to use financial data to make decisions that support three key business value drivers: growth, profitability, and risk.
From individual contributors to people leaders, Business Challenge is a training simulation built to teach those without a financial background basic financial lessons in a way that is both understandable and practical.
While we know you will complete this program feeling inspired, we'll do you one better. This program will leave you immediately equipped and confidently able to:
Understand financial data and connect it to company or team strategy
Make decisions based on key business value drivers: growth, profitability, and risk
Communicate cross-functionally about pertinent business and finance metrics
Business Challenge is a simulation that allows for real-world practice without real-world consequences. You will work in small teams to practice interpreting financial data using targeted practice exercises. Led by a certified facilitator with extensive finance, you will be taken through lessons on strategic planning, financial statement analysis, cost structure analysis, evaluating financial levers, and the drivers of business value. In the end, they will all be tied back to your everyday reality as an everyday leader.
